Wedding photography sometimes isn’t just about s Wedding photography sometimes isn’t just about storytelling from what happened at a wedding, it’s also about relationships. For instance, when you’ve got three gorgeous sisters and an equally gorgeous mother - a photograph can be a memory made of that special bond, on that special day. The making of this photograph was an equally challenging story - that of an extremely hot and humid hall, a makeshift background made up of bedsheets we appropriated from the hotel room and quite of bit of makeshift lighting. We’ve been looking forward to Aditi and Dhruv’ We’ve been looking forward to Aditi and Dhruv’s wedding for months now! After having already shot a few weddings in their family, Aditi’s wedding (and soon to be followed by her twin sister Ambika’s wedding) was just the mid-season shot in the arm we needed. Before the wedding started, we wanted to do a short and intimate session with these two. Who’d have thought that September would bring some of the heaviest rainfall Delhi has ever witnessed - so with many outdoor locations out of bounds, we decided to spent a hour with them in their hotel room. Quiet, intimate and oh-so-soft, this session was all about going back to the basics of why we do couple portraiture in the first place - create images of love that stay as family heirlooms for years to come.
