When I first started wedding photography way back in 2008, I used to be a one man army. I didn’t have an office, I didn’t have a team and I didn’t have my trusty partner in crime – Praerna – who at the time was still a part of the advertising world. Over time, Praerna joined me and we started shooting weddings together. We used to work from home, had a spare bedroom converted into a makeshift studio and met clients in coffee shops. Over time we shifted to our first studio in Shahpur Jat, and started slowly building from there.<\/p>\n
Fast forward to 2017, we now operate from a 3000 square feet studio in Gurgaon, and now have everything needed to create timeless wedding stories using both still images and moving images in-house. So much has changed since we first started, and but yet again, so much is still the same.\u00a0 At SILK Inspire this year, I spoke a lot about the importance of a name – and what your brand actually stands for. I now realise that we’ve outgrown the brand name “Arjun Kartha” – we needed a name that reflected our core values: that we are a small family business that works with other families. We are a couple who shoots couples. A brand that conveys that we are a highly motivated team of individuals that are passionate about crafting love stories that are born from our love for photography. Choosing a name was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make – we agonised over it for months before finding something that we loved and knew it was “us”.<\/p>\n
Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that we are now called Twogether Studios. A team of photographers and cinematographers led by a couple, shooting couples. Our work continues to remain what we’ve always stood for – fun, off-beat and timeless memories from weddings that are rooted in love, friendship and family.<\/p>\n
Dear reader – thank you for being a part of our journey. The last nine years have been a roller coaster of a journey, and I can’t wait to see where the next nine years take us.<\/p>\n
