Hello peeps! If you’re getting married (or know Hello peeps! If you’re getting married (or know someone who is!) and you’re looking for simple tips to save money (don’t we all?), then this reel is for you! From my fifteen years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve seen hundreds of weddings of all types - and here are some simple hacks that you can use to save money (and hopefully invest it in quality photography!). 1. Combine small and big events - especially Mehendi + Sangeet, Wedding + Reception etc. Do you really need two separate events? Save a ton of money this way! 2. Get a good DJ, save on the band. While bands (and celebrity artists) are GREAT, a good DJ can give you a real bang for your buck. 3. This is simple, but things are MUCH cheaper in August or September (think 25 to 50%!). If you’re not too bound by wedding muhurats, save on many weddings costs! 4. Decorators love flowers, and so do we - but florals cost money and are a big expense in decor. Use fake flowers, repurpose your florals or do away with it altogether by choosing a venue thats rich in natural beauty. I have many more such tips and tricks - follow for more! Meet Ambika and Luis. If you’ve been following o Meet Ambika and Luis. If you’ve been following our stories you’ll know that Luis is a filmmaker (who makes some kick ass films btw, check his work out at @grolezfilms) and Ambika had a beautiful celebration of love at the Zorba (@zorbaofficial) here in New Delhi. Their friends and family flew in from all across the world in a celebration that was filled with love, fun and a lot of dancing!
Oh wow! Not only is @keshavdhanraj the super talen Oh wow! Not only is @keshavdhanraj the super talented drummer from @sanamband with his amazing beats, but he’s an amazing singer too! In the cutest surprise move ever, just as he was about to make his vows to @marciajd, he totally surprised her (and everyone!) by breaking out into this brilliant song which totally had to be the most romantic move of 2024. Not only were Marcia and many people in the audience in tears, we were too! Well done Keshav - you’ve totally set the bar high! From her radiant smile to her flawless bridal glow, she truly was the epitome of elegance and beauty. She’s an amazing dog mom (go Marcia!) and owns @pawlish.bymarcia (oh, how the Twogether dogs wish they lived in Mumbai!), brought her love for all things beautiful to her wedding day. Having put in all the work into planning their wedding themselves (yes, there was a LONG planning checklist!), they managed to pull off something that really built some strong core memories for themselves, us, and everyone involved! Through a single muse, the series delves into the serene moments that emerge even in the darkest of settings. The photos weave together the calm of nature with the unsettling allure of wrapped shadows, reflecting the quiet strength and peaceful resilience within. Shot using the @fujifilmxindia XT4 using the "Acros" colour profile, which is a recreation of the famous Acros Film. (This series was conceived to demonstrate the brilliant film profiles that are native to the Fujifilm X Series cameras.
